Chris Walters fell in love with bourbon in 2015. While the sweetness, spice, and oak notes were always there, he had trouble detecting more specific taste notes that he knew were supposed to be there. A friend recommended he start nosing various spices while enjoying his whiskey and he soon discovered he could train his senses this way. He created his own kit using real ingredients that would provide natural and authentic aromas to help with detecting various tasting notes. That’s how Nose Your Bourbon was born.
