This version is a reminder, if one were needed, that the first step in making a bourbon, and a whisky in general, is working the land and selecting the grain. This straight bourbon, called ‘The Farm’, evokes the hilly landscape of Kentucky at harvest time. A sweet smell of earth and grain fills the air. Dark fruits and heady flowers are the hallmarks of its complexity.
